Vinyasa Flow Online

Welcome to Yoga Bradford online!  Our Vinyasa flow classes are fun and challenging and open to both beginners and the more experienced. Each class will contain varying sequences and poses to keep the body challenged, yet will have enough familiarity to aid progression. Each class is individually sequenced and modifications are offered to ensure you can practise safely and choose the best pose to suit you. Remember all postures are optional so if it’s not right for you then skip it…but if you fancy a challenge then join in!

“Vinyasa” means breath synchronised movement and in this flowing yoga style the postures are linked together in a flowing sequence. Contrary to Ashtanga which has a set sequence, each Vinyasa flow class will vary in the postures included but will still  include a wide range of movements to increase strength and flexibility. A mindfulness approach is woven throughout the classes, with a focus on the breath.  Find a class to suit your mood; whether you are looking for a slower, stretch-focussed class or a dynamic flow to build heat, each class will leave you with a unique balance of energy and calm.

Yoga changed my life, which is why I love to share my experience to pass the gift on.  As such, these online classes are free to use as many times and as often as you like.  I am forever a yoga student; I am keen to continue to develop my yoga knowledge and incorporate this into my teaching. As such. if you have the means and should you wish to make a donation (pay as you feel) then all donations are humbly and gratefully received.  Your kind generosity will support me to continue to share yoga with you and to keep the classes (and your practice!) fresh.

Peace, love and light, Angela x

Style: Vinyasa Flow
Length: 60 minutes
Level: 0
Focus: Hamstrings and hips
Props: A flow to help us stay grounded and promote a sense of calm. Opening with a guided mindfulness meditation, turning our attention away from the outward towards our inner self. Followed with breathing techniques to promote calm, allowing us to connect to our inner anchor, the unwavering continuous, dependable breath. Followed by a grounding flow, with lots of repetition as we build up the sequence each cycle, allowing the familiarity and rhythm to soothe and calm. Recorded from a live-streamed class at the Yoga Space Leeds.

Style: Vinyasa Flow
Length: 60 minutes
Level: 0
Focus: Shoulders and upper back
Props: You may have found yourself working from home, hunched over a laptop and generally being stiff from this unfamiliar way of working. So in this sequence we will focus on opening the shoulders, chest and upper back so we can release tension and breathe a big sigh of relief 🙂 Recorded from a live stream at the Yoga Space, Leeds.

Style: Vinyasa Flow
Length: 60 minutes
Level: 0
Focus: Hips
Props: Hips are often a tight area in our body, whether from sitting, running or cycling. So in this week’s slow flow we will enjoy lots of deep stretches for the internal and external rotators, groin and glutes to maintain a healthy range of motion. Tight hips can impact on the rest of the body so keeping the hip and gluteus muscles supple can help ease lower back pain and improve posture and balance. We will use our breath throughout to breathe out tightness and breathe in calm. Recorded from a live-stream class for the Yoga Space, Leeds.
