Afternoon of Yoga
Winter Warmer
Sunday 19th January 2025
1pm – 4pm
£20
(Payment in advance required as limited places are available)
Winter is full of potential – the whole year ahead of us. It’s a time when we reflect on the year gone by; to allow ourselves to dream and start planning but to not go too fast. It’s a time to reflect and contemplate; to set new goals (but not too many!) and a time to slow down to enjoy one cosy day at a time. A time to nourish the body, mind and soul. Winter represents the most yin, inward-focussed season and a time for nourishing the soul; a perfect time for yoga.
Opening with a calming mindfulness Meditation accompanied with Pranayama (breath work) to energise you and cultivate a sense of physical, emotional & spiritual well being. Followed by a Slow Vinyasa Flow for a Winter mood boost. We will then take a break with some light refreshments. Then slowing down even more with supportive and nourishing restorative yoga to relax & unwind. Finishing with a lovely long relaxation (Yoga Nidra) guiding you into a deep rest.
